A decadent, dairy-free dessert — with a side of relationship clarity.

There are a lot of things that should feel effortless — love, respect, being chosen. And also? Dessert.

This silky, rich, dairy-free strawberry chocolate avocado pudding is here to satisfy your sweet tooth and your soul. I originally made this for Valentine’s Day, but honestly, it’s perfect anytime you need a little indulgence with a lot of truth.

Because here’s the thing…

If they wanted to, they would.

If you’re in a relationship where you don’t feel special, chosen, or prioritized, where you’re constantly feeling like you have to earn someone’s attention or fight to stay relevant — they’re not the one.

You deserve to be someone’s “I just know.”

So while you’re nourishing your body with healthy fats and antioxidant-rich cacao, let’s remember to also nourish your self-worth. ❤️

Ingredients:

  • 2 large avocados (ripe)
  • ½ cup strawberries (sliced) + more for garnish
  • 5 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 5 oz coconut cream (or coconut creamer)

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until ultra-smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon into serving cups or jars.
  4. Garnish with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of cacao if you’re feeling fancy.

Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes if you want it extra chilled — or dig in right away.

Why This Recipe Works:

  • Full of healthy fats for skin, mood, and satiety
  • Naturally dairy-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free
  • Packed with fiber + antioxidants
  • Comes together in 5 minutes — no cooking required

It’s basically self-respect in dessert form. 🍓🍫

A Personal Note on Love After Loss

After losing Bob, I realized just how deeply important it is to feel chosen, respected, and truly seen in a relationship. When you’ve experienced profound grief, your tolerance for anything that feels like emotional chasing or uncertainty drops to zero. That’s why I feel so incredibly lucky to have found that sense of security with Breckin. From day one, he made me feel important, prioritized, and safe — and that has been truly invaluable in my healing. If you’re not feeling that kind of peace in your relationship, I hope this little dessert and this little message help remind you: you deserve nothing less.
